Warning: FED Ex and the Infamous Email Virus
Today I encountered another virus is being massively distributed via fake emails supposedly coming from the FedEx. These emails have nothing at all to do with FedEx. These bogus FedEx emails contain a false claim indicating that a postal delivery was attempted by FedEx but the user wasn’t home. The message then says that you have a receipt to download and then open so that you can go get your package. Unfortunately my client by mistake actually opened this attachment, thinking that they would find out this receipt number. Once they actually do this (download the “receipt” and open it, the “receipt is really malware and the virus is actually implanted onto the now infected system. These crafty little hackers have developed these emails specifically with the intention to bring destructive malware (virus) into computers that became vulnerable. Perry Hall PC Repair urges you not to click on any link in these emails. If you need quality computer repair at an affordable price contact us we can be found at http://www.BaltimorePCFix.com.
